Child Care Philosophy

The Centre aims to look after your child, and to
support the needs of the parents as well.
In addition to child care, the Centre also provides
the support of a TEACHER and a PARENT
SUPPORT WORKER to help with any issues or
problems of parenting or your kife in general.
A variety of health and support services are
provided to parents. These operate in
conjunctions with the educational and youth
development facilities on the Balga campus,
providing comprehensive education and skill
development programs for young parents,
including specialised educational programs in
parenting and child development.

will provide a child care service that meets the
physical, social and emotional needs of children
and families through a trusting, respectful and
caring environment.

Do you want to return to school?
Are you interested in increasing
your chances to gain employment
or go to TAFE or university?
If so you can talk to the staff at Balga SHS on
9343 6038 (you dont even have to live in the
area).

Balga Senior High School can now offer

you a flexible education and flexible
training to suit you and your baby.
Whilst you are in class or at work experience,
your baby will be in a safe and caring
environment. You will also be able to visit your
child before, during
and after school
time

Affordable child care

(assistances with Centrelink and JET)

This is a high quality, fully accredited, registered

child care service to provide the base care
available.
The program includes a range of active and quiet
activities, indoor and outdoor play, whole group
and small group learning experiences and
structure and unstructured learning times.
