What Is It?
Oracle Database Cloud Service (Database as a Service) gives you a complete Oracle database
instance in a virtual machine (VM). Its the same familiar Oracle databasenow in a cloud.

To access the database in your VM, you can use port opening, SSH tunneling, SQL*Net, web
access, and more. And Oracle Compute Cloud Service security rules and lists give you flexible,
enterprise-level security.
