MUNICIPAL ORDINANCE NO. 019-2011

APPROVING THE RECLASSIFICATION OF LOT NO. 11734, CSD-05018184-D, IDENTICAL TO LOT NO. 10690-B (FORMERLY KNOWN AS
LOT NO. 1401-B, CSD-05-001474), OWNED BY THE LGU OF
GUINOBATAN WITH AN AREA OF 5 HECTARES, LOCATED AT SITIO
KANGGAO, QUITAGO, GUINOBATAN, ALBAY, FROM AGRICULTURAL
TO RESIDENTIAL/COMMERCIAL PURPOSES.

WHEREAS,

the reclassification of Lot No. 11734, Csd-05-018184-d,

identical to Lot No. 10690-B (formerly known as Lot No. 1401B, Csd-05-001474), with an area of five (5) hectares located at
Sitio Kanggao, Barangay Quitago, Guinobatan, Albay, and
owned by the Local Government of Guinobatan, as site for the
Low Cost Housing Program of the LGU as embodied in
Municipal Ordinance No. 017-2011, otherwise known as the
Guinobatan Shelter Ordinance of 2011, from agricultural to
residential/commercial purposes, is one of the requirements to
effectively carry out its housing program for its employees;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Bayan through the Committee on Housing and

Urban Development to which such matter was referred to, had
for several occasions conducted the necessary committee
meetings, and on-site inspection/investigation;
WHEREAS, during the said hearings/meetings/inspections together with the
Municipal and Barangay Officials, LGU Employees, and
adjoining property owners, there were no objections raised as
all were amenable for the area to be reclassified as such as they
were all aware of the housing program of the LGU from the

very start of its sale and it is situated adjacent to the present

permanent relocation site of the municipality;
WHEREFORE, in consideration of the foregoing premises:
BE IT NOW ORDAINED, by the Sangguniang Bayan of Guinobatan, Albay
in session assembled that:
SECTION 1.
The reclassification of Lot No. 11734, Csd05-018184-d, identical to Lot No. 10690-B (formerly known as
Lot No. 1401-B, Csd-05-001474), measuring an area of five (5)
hectares located at Sitio Kanggao, Barangay Quitago,
Guinobatan, Albay, and owned by the Local Government of
Guinobatan, from agricultural to residential/commercial
purposes, is hereby authorized in accordance with Chapter 2,
Section 20, Book 1 of R.A. 7160, otherwise known as the Local
Government Code of 1991.
SECTION 2.
The Office of the Municipal Assessor is
likewise authorized to make the necessary adjustment on the
existing records on file pertinent to the lot herein reclassified
upon its effectivity.
SECTION 3.
This ordinance shall take effect upon its
approval on review by the Sangguniang Panlalawigan.
ENACTED: November 14, 2011.
