Philippines, 2007-2009
Preparation of a flood control master plan for the
rivers Bucayao and Mag-asawang Tubig in the
province Oriental Mindoro. The project includes an EIA
baseline, survey of flood plain and affected rivers,
development of hydraulic, digital elevation and river
basin models, assessment, proposal and prioritization
of measures also with multipurpose benefits, and
finally design of the flood control master plan. The
project is funded by NORAD. Main responsibility is
elaboration of the Flood Control Master Plan within an
IWRM Approach. IWRM Specialist and Deputy Team
