On or about 2:00pm of April 8, 2015, a certain Francis Fernandez was

apprehended in Starmall Alabang for shoplifting in Finds Convenience store.
According to the report of the security personnel of the company, it was found out
that Fernandez entered the 3rd flr branch of the said store, took a Cloud 9 candy bar
and put it into his pocket. After suspiciously looking around he immediately ran out
causing the guard to suspect that he committed a crime. When he was then
apprehended he was brought to Muntinlupa PNP Station 2 where initial questioning
and investigation was conducted we found out that Fernandez was convicted for the
crime of robbery-holdup in Cebu City and was convicted with finality and is
supposed to be serving his sentence still, under Criminal Case XV115-3123.
Attached herewith is a photo of the accused, please confirm if this Fernandez is one
and the same with the Fernandez convicted in the earlier stated case. If so, please
coordinate with our Chief in order to be able to commence appropriate actions on
his transfer back to Cebu. It is requested that a progress report is made soon.
