Position Summary:
Oakshire Brewings core purpose is to Share Great Beer Experiences. Our production brewery and
community-minded Public House are located in Eugene, Oregon, and we will be eclipsing 12,000 bbls
produced in 2014. We are searching for an extremely motivated and passionate individual with a

powerful collection of skills who is prepared to push the communication of the value of Oakshire
Brewings products, images and messaging to make a lasting impression among consumers and directly
contribute to increased product sales and market share while propagating Oakshires values.
The ideal candidate will smoothly join a team made up of people who support our core purpose through
daily actions.
Duties and Responsibilities will include:

Identifying, creating and managing the development, coordination and communication of strategic
marketing plans, including Events and Festivals planning, for execution to internal and external
stakeholders. Such plans will include processes and programs with a focus on engagement and
education to build awareness of Oakshire Brewing that meet measurable goals to be executed in
timelines relevant to stakeholders ability to operate and meet goals

Working closely with Oakshires teams, including product developers, researchers, marketing
personnel and creative agencies to ensure consistent communication of Oakshire brand values
and images

Acting as the primary contact for Oakshires partners to develop and nurture a deep knowledge of
Oakshires and its partners priorities, products, processes, capabilities, and delivery channels

Monitoring market trends and overseeing advertising and marketing activities to ensure a
consistent and accurate message is delivered for Oakshire Brewing and products, as well as
creating reporting processes to show quantitative gains of marketing department actions that add
value and impact to each stakeholder internally and externally

Acting as the primary contact for Oakshires internal departments that function through or interact
with marketing actions to affect company goals, as well as coordinating internal and external
resources to align information and actions create greater impact of every action

Creating, managing, and maximizing public relations and social media functions that
communicate branding strategies while ensuring compliance with alcohol advertising rules and
standards

Participating in Oakshire Special Events, on/off premise programs, and all other public facing
activities as identified

Identifying, designing, and operating annual budgetary guidelines and reporting regularly to
Supervisor or Controller

Leading a creative design team to support development of ideas and resources across branding
platforms (Cultural, Visual, Digital, Experiential)

Other duties as assigned

Excellent communication skills, written and oral, including: keen listener; ability to respond to

opportunities; and, ability to uniquely and effectively meet customer and partner needs

Excellent analytical skills

Reliable budget management and basic understanding of business financials

Excellent teammate with ability to work well with a wide range of people from various
departments

Accomplished team leader, able to inspire others and create and manage strong relationships,
gain commitment, and accomplish shared goals

Must be organized and methodical with excellent multi-tasking capabilities and ability to thrive
under pressure in a quickly-evolving environment. Must be able to manage numerous projects at
the same time with proven ability to manage complex projects across multiple functional areas

Proficiency in MS Office Suite products

Demonstrated ability to plan and execute field marketing programs

Desired Minimum Qualifications include:

Four year college degree or equivalent

Two or more years in a similar or related field, including marketing, branding, or events
management role

Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds and move kegs which may weigh up to 165 pounds.
