{INT}
----------------------------------------------------------------------------The Kitchen and Pharmacy are available only after reaching the second
generation of Rune Factory 2 by getting married, having a child, and asking
Mayor Byron to build the school.
Once Generation 2 begins you will have the option of expanding the school by
talking to Mayor Byron in his house between 9am and 6pm on a non-holiday and
selecting the option "I Want to expand the school." There are three possible
options to upgrade the school with: the library, the dojo, and the workshop.
As far as this guide is concerned the workshop is the only relevant upgrade
to the school at this time. It will cost you 10,000G and 100 Lumber, which
should be a nonissue at this point in the game, provided you didn't seriously
slack off in Generation 1.
Once you have upgraded the school (it will be completed in one day thanks to
Mayor Byron's miracle Construction Crew) you will be able to buy the Kitchen
and Pharmacy from Yue on Mondays in Alvarna: North Square from 9am-6pm. When
you talk to Yue select the option "I'm looking for a bargain." She will bring
up a list of stations you can purchase for the school's workshop. As far as
we're concerned, the Large Kitchen (you will be able to buy the cooking
utensils from Yue on Wednesdays at the same times) and Pharmacy will suffice,
though you might as well get the Forge while you're at it. Altogether they
will cost less than 30,000G and, again, should not be an issue at this point
in the game.
Congratulations! You are now ready to begin your career as a Chef/Pharmacist.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------3) Cooking Recipes

----------------------------------------------------------------------------There are two ways to obtain cooking recipes over the course of the game.

The first is by taking Mana's lessons between 9am and 12pm on a non-Holiday.
The other way is to experiment. Try combining different ingredients and see
what comes out.
Be wary with cooking recipes,though, as failed attempts will result in a
loss of all of the ingredients. It is important to try to stay within your
skill range when using ingredients that are a bit more rare or expensive
than others.

There are 2 ways to obtain Pharmacy recipes as well. First is through Mana's
lessons in class between 9am and 12pm. The second method is by clearing the
Lithograph statues that block certain paths in the seasonal dungeons. Every
time you defeat a dungeon's boss one of the Lithographs will provide you with
2 pharmacy recipes before disappearing and giving you a piece of that area's
tablet.
