nly 162 out of over 22,000 students enrolled in UP Diliman benefit
from free tuition this school year through the Socialized Tuition
and Financial Assistance Program (STFAP).
The 162 students who qualified for the lowest brackets in
both the numeric and alphabetic bracketing schemes (ABS)
of the STFAP constitute less than a percent of the to-
tal 1,463 students who applied under the program,
based on data recently obtained from the Office
of Scholarships and Student Services (OSSS).
