Background

Concept

The National Student Survey and the Your Student Suvey is an

organisation that allows students to reflect and give feedback during
their time on the course.

The strapline for this brief was Voice Your Opinion to highlight
to students that they have a voice and it needs to heard. The
typographic style connotes that this is missing through the outlined
words and through student particpation this void can be filled.

Brief

Deliverables

Commisioned by Leeds College of Art the aim was to produce a

distinctive visual concept for the NSS & the YSS. The design should
provide a consistent visual concept or identity that aligns the two
surveys under the same promotional material.

The brief required a poster design for the campaign, which should
include a slogan to encourage students to get involved.

simple san serif font is legible and eye catching from a distance and is
complemented with the dashed outline for visual variation.

The colour palette was influenced by the patriotic british flag, these

tones are also used for voting system to link to the student survey.
These fresh colours are vibrant against a black backdrop, making it
eye catching.
Accompanied by bold pattern that is influenced by the Leeds College of

Distribution

The posters work as a set to highlight the strapline Voice Your Opinion
as well as working alone with individual quotes on each poster. The
pattern is different on each poster to visually represent movement and
progression, which can be obtained by students interacting with the
survery.

The posters will be distributed around the university from the canteen to
pop up stands. This will allow all students and vistors to see and engage
with the campaign.

with the posters also working through an interactive animation to intrigue
the target audience to emmerse themselves within the campaign.
