Resolution No. 25/2014
In the light of Item No. 389/2013 and Resolution No. 270/
2013 dated 29th December, 2013, Hon'ble Members Mr. Vijay
Bhatt and Mr. Bhoj Chander Thakur have examined the
matter relating to validity of admission in LL.B course
secured by handicapped candidates. He has secured
42.08% in qualifying exam and has requested for approval
of relaxation of 3% of marks provided by Law college for
the purpose of admisssion to LL.B course. The opinion of
Hon'ble Members is that the request of the handicapped
candidates can be allowed and his admission in LL.B course
should be deemand to be valid for all purposes. The Council
resolves accordingly.

Resolution No. 5/2014
After consideration the Council resolves to accept the
report dated 18.01.2014 submitted by Mr. Rameshchandra
G. Shah, Mr. Bhoj Chander Thakur and Mr. Raj Mohan
Singh, Hon'ble Member, Bar Council of India.
The relevant part of report dated 18.01.2014 is reproduced
below:
"After through discussion the Committee is of the view to
recommend minimum percentage of marks 42% for OBC
students to be obtained for qualifying examination such as
+2 examination in case of integrated five years course and
Degree Course in any discipline for three year's LLB course
for the purpose of applying for and getting admitted into a
law course of any recognized University in either of
streams."
