The NFoPP Awarding Body is a specialist Property Sector
regulated qualification organisation. We are the sister
company to the National Federation of Property
Professionals, which encompasses the Association of
Residential Letting Agents (ARLA), the National Association
of Estate Agents (NAEA), the Institution of Commercial &
Business Agents (ICBA), the National Association of Valuers
& Auctioneers (NAVA), the Association of Professional
Inventory Providers (APIP) and the Association of Internal
Property Professionals (AIPP).

the NFoPP Awarding Body.
The NFoPP Awarding Body is regulated by Ofqual and Welsh government. Our qualifications are not only
accepted for membership of various professional bodies but are also recognised within the sectors as the
premier qualifications within the property industry.

What do the Levels mean?

The portfolio of qualifications

Level 2 Qualifications are equivalent to GCSE standard and


are a good starting point if you have no knowledge within
the subject area. It is not compulsory to begin at this level.

The NFoPP Awarding Body offers


qualifications within the following

Sale of Residential Property

Level 3 Qualifications are equivalent to A Level Standard


and are perfect for those working within the sector but
holding no formally recognised qualifications.
Level 4 Qualifications are equivalent to Certificate of
Higher Education. Learners need to hold the Level 3 in
order to undertake this higher level qualification. The Level 3
demonstrates the required knowledge, which is then built
upon within the Level 4.

The next development step is the Certificate, which is a much higher qualification and you need to be
working in the industry and have detailed knowledge of the sector. We suggest you have a minimum of
5 years working experience before you begin this higher level qualification. It is compulsory to hold the
Technical Award level qualification and have working experience in order to undertake this higher level
of qualification.

The Awarding Body is totally independent.

Can I speak to someone about these qualifications?

You can choose whether to undertake the Level 2 or Level 3, if both are offered, but all
candidates are required to hold the relevant Level 3 in order to undertake the Level 4.

Within England and Wales you can undertake the Level 4 Certificate for Sale of
Residential Property, Residential Letting and Property Management or Commercial
Property Agency.

You can purchase study materials from MOL which support each programme;
alternatively you can research the topics following the syllabus on the website.
