INSTALLATION
Transducer Tank and Transducer
Transducer Tank
Make a 216 mounting hole on the hull.
Joint transducer tank on the hull without welding line and air hole. Pay attention to
other accessories before jointing.
After transducer tank cooling, put transducer into the tank through the tanks
inferior hole and make the cable through the upper hole.
Following the sketch map, push into thick rubber gasket and flange in turn, and
joint them with the tank with bolts.
Push airproof loop into the airproof groove which is on the transducer tank.
Push copper gasket into the upper hole of transducer tank, and make sure it joint
with airproof loop tightly.
The last step is to install screw cap. The screw cap should be screwed with

Transducer
Transducer is a key part in the system as it is a precise sensor. It is must be
carefully protected when transport and install. No huge pressure allowed to be
acted it. Working in the air or dropping to ground can damage it. Less effective
may be occurred when paints and duty hanging on its surface or incorrect
installation.
Sometimes two transducers can be selected to install the head and buttock if the
vessel is too long or sidelong.
It should be installed flat surface far away source of vibration and water current.
Transducer should be vertical. One cover using lead water current maybe
installed to less water current effect on transducer when necessary.
Transducer cannot be left from water and touch air while working, or will be
damaged.
It should be at least 50cm deeper under water but flat with keel.

Display Unit
Mounting considerations
The display unit is designed for overhead mounting and desktop mounting. When
choosing a location keep the following in mind.
Keep the display unit out of direct sunlight.
The temperature and humidity should be moderate and stable.
Locate the unit away from exhaust pipes and vents.
The mounting location should be well ventilated.
Mount the unit where shock and vibration are minimal.
For maintenance and checking purpose, leave sufficient space at the sides and
rear of the unit and leave slack in cables.
A magnetic compass will be affected if the display unit is placed too close to it.
Observe the following compass safe distances to prevent disturbance to the
magnetic compass:
