Two types of shale shaker manufactured by KOSUN

The shale shaker is the first grade of solids control equipment in drilling purification system. It
can remove cuttings above 75m brought from the drilling well and the liquid with smaller
particles will flow into tanks from where the fluid will flow into next grade solids control
equipment to be treated.
Drilling fluids are integral to the drilling process and, among other functions, serve to lubricate
and cool the drill bit as well as convey the drilled cuttings away from the bore hole. These fluids
are a mixture of various chemicals in a water or oil based solution and can be very expensive to
make. For both environmental reasons and to reduce the cost of drilling operations drilling fluid
losses are minimized by stripping them away from the drilled cuttings before the cuttings are
disposed of, this is done using a multitude of specialized machines and tanks.
The working principle of shale shaker
The shaker screen is equipped on the basket of shale shaker, with three or four pieces screen
panels, while the screen basket is driven by two sets of vibration motors which are mounted on the
top of shale shaker with synchronization and contrary rotation. There exists one piece of eccentric
block in the vibration motor. When motor works, the eccentric block also rotate. As there are two
sets of vibration motors working synchronized, at some point, the vibration force that generated by
the eccentric blocks is sum of these two blocks effect force. While at some point, the vibration
force of motors would be zero.
According the different working principle, the shale shaker is divided into Linear Motion Shale
