FA – ‘Business: The Basics’ Glogs BDI 3C – Semester II 2009/10

Our Purpose: The goal of this exercise is to work together to develop a common understanding
of the key topics in business. This will serve as a ‘crash’ course in introductory business for
some, and a review for others.

Your Task: You will work with a partner to create a glog on one of the topics outlined below.

The Details:
• Instructions on how to use glogster can be accessed from the NDSSBiz homepage
• Some links to information on each topic have been provided on the NDSSBiz wiki
(Entrepreneurship > Unit 1 – Business: The Basics)
∗ Please make use of any additional resources you can find!
• Glogs will be linked into the NDSSBiz wiki for the class to reference throughout the
semester
• Glogs will be presented to your classmates
∗ During the presentation, your classmates will have handouts (provided by Ms.
Wood) to fill out; these handouts will be your ‘notes’ on each topic

Assessment: Your glogs will be evaluated using the rubric below.
