Understanding Hydraulics 3

HYDAC unit number: ST-T02-1

Duration: 40 hours (5 days)
Outline
This course is designed to provide a high level of detail for those wishing to expand their
understanding of common hydraulic components and their function within a system.
Components discussed in detail include control of variable displacement pumps, industrial
and mobile valves. This course also introduces engineering calculations for hydraulic system
engineering. Half of this course is classroom based and half of it is hands-on with exercises on
our hydraulic training rigs. This course is suitable for maintenance technicians, trades people,
sales people and engineers.
NOTE: This course was entitled Understanding Hydraulics 2 in 2012 and 2013. A name
change was necessary due to on-going developments in our technical training packages.
