AUTOMATION OF CURTAINS AND SHUTTERS

To control the movement of one or more shutters/curtains

around the whole home. One single touch is enough to raise or
lower all the shutters/curtains of your home.

LIGHT SCENARIOS

Scenarios make life in your home much more

simple and comfortable thanks to the simultaneous
activation of several controls used daily.

THE ADVANTAGES

of theSOLUTIONS
Thanks to our solutions it is possible to add new devices
to the existing electric system, to expand and enrich the
functions of the traditional system.
This can be done using a wired or radio solution.

Thanks to the scenario control, the user can prepare

the room for relaxation, reading, watching a film, etc.
by ordering with a single movement the switching on
or off of certain lights.

SOUND DIFFUSION

To follow your favourite music program in each room of your

home with a high sound quality, with perfect look integration.

THE SOLUTIONS 5
WWW.BTICINO.COM

WIRED
BUS

SELECTION of the

TECHNOLOGY

WIRED BUS
The transmission of all information among
the devices added to the traditional electric
system is performed through a twisted pair
called BUS. The BUS cable transmits the
information and the power supply to the
devices and can be installed together with
the existing energy cables.
This solution is particularly suited for
new constructions, or when important
refurbishments have taken place.
6

RADIO
ZIGBEE

RADIO ZIGBEE
Thanks to the radio transmission
and the battery powering of controls,
the devices easily integrate with the
traditional electric system, without
the need for any additional wiring.
In this way the existing system can
be integrated with the automation of
lights and shutters.

key cover of the actuator device, until the desired shutter
position is reached.
BISTABLE, press and release the top section (shutter UP) or
the bottom section (shutter DOWN) of the key cover of the
actuator device. This will send an UP-DOWN command to
the shutter motor. After the command has been sent, press
the lower or upper key cover again to stop the shutter in

1 - Selection of the coordinator device and

network creation

1. Selection of the coordinator device and network

This is the first operation that must be completed after

wiring the devices. After its definition, the coordinator will
store all information relating to all the devices making up
the network, and will manage the transfer of information
among the devices.

creation. The coordinator device MUST be connected

to the electric power line.
2. Adding the devices to the network
3. Association of the devices
To help the reader, below is a legend of the symbols used
in the next pages to indicate the status of the LEDs of the
devices.

PROCEDURE:
1. Remove any key covers present.
2. Select the actuator device that will act as a Coordinator,

Light scenario solution with star wiring

and SCS BUS technology
The light scenario management solution makes it
possible to recreate the desired atmosphere.
Simply save light scenarios in the scenario module based
on the desired ambience (e.g. relax, reading, TV Vision,

wake-up), so that they may be recalled with a simple

movement using the Scenario Control device. Solution
realised with star wiring. All the actuators are in DIN
module.

Light scenario solution with ZigBee technology

Using radio dimmer and radio scenario control actuators,
with the Zigbee technology it is possible to set light
scenarios depending on the desired ambiance (e.g. relax,
reading, watching TV, night).

The radio scenario control is capable of saving up to 4

scenarios maximum. Scenarios can also be recalled
using a remote control.

Procedure for storing radio stations

The device gives the possibility of storing up to 10 radio
stations. As a rule, when the tuner is supplied no radio
stations are stored.
Quickly press and release the M pushbutton for the
selection of the position number where the station will
be stored.
The display shows the position where the station will
be saved (A).
Press the forward/back pushbuttons to tune the radio
to the desired frequency.
A

When changing the frequency, the number displayed will

start flashing, to indicate that the frequency currently
displayed is different from the stored frequency.
Once the desired station has been found, press and hold
the M pushbutton until the two LEDs start flashing.
Release the pushbutton. The radio station has now
been saved.
To save other stations repeat the same procedure.
