Explain how your planned activities will contribute to your development in

the following areas.

Creativity (the arts and other experiences that involve creative

thinking)
The activities that involve creative thinking are the planning for the
Andinos workshop because I am part of the group who will plan and do
content activities for the participants who attend the meeting. The
Americas Junior Branch Meeting(AJBM) also falls under this category
because in this meeting I will be taking a active role on the debate towards
the new proposals imposed representing Ecuador. Thus involving critical
thinking and creative thinking to help up with resolutions for these
proposals. Finally, some of the duties I have as a NJR is creating monthly
meetings which involve creating activities which both challenge the
participants and transmit important knowledge effectively.

Action (Physical exertion contributing to a healthy lifestyle)

This term I will be increasing the number of hours I go to the gym in order
to start preparing for the 15k ULTIMAS NOTICIAS run. This means that I will
increase the work I do to improve my stigma and be able to run for longer
periods of time before needing to stop.

Service (an unpaid and voluntary exchange that has a learning

benefit)
Junior Branch Ecuador takes social work very seriously and due to this we
always try to keep up and come up with new projects to give back to our
community. This term I hope that we will be able to at least do two
community service activities and also if possible continue some past
community service projects started last year.

Will any of the activities be new for you (one you have not done before)?

If so, explain what challenges you might face.

Planning the Andinos Workshop is a totally new experience because its
the first I will be planning a international meeting and not only prepare
content but also to organize host families, health and travel forms,
transport for the international people, and create a budget for a campsite
and materials. This is all new to me but I believe that I will be able to
handle it because I feel prepared for the challenge and also because the
staff group which will help me are all motivated to do a great job.

Identify any areas of strength or areas for growth, in relation to the activities
listed.
