Ana has worked hard to build a sense of community at both of her centers.
Recently, she worked together with the staff to put together a Community
Resource Fair at Gratts EEC. There were over 13 different community groups
at the fair and approximately 200 people attended including Mr. Cortines.
Each community group offered educational opportunities and information
on a variety of topics from home safety to mental health resources offered
through the district. UCLA Dental did 80 preschool teeth cleanings and the
Dream Center distributed over 150 bags of food to community families.
