information along with the report. The whole exercise of this report enabled us to get a valuable
insight into the situation of job analysis in Janata bank.

Executive Summary

Job analysis can be define as an examination of the jobs in an organization with a view to
documenting the knowledge, skills, and abilities associate with successful performance of those
jobs. It is the first step in a thorough understanding of the job and forms the basis of job
description that leads to job specification. Job analysis is the foundation for all HR activities. So,
it is important for an organization to hire the right person for the right job and it will only be
possible if the organization has all the details of jobs which getting through the job analysis.

This report is prepared on Job analysis of Janata Bank. The report describes the Job description
where we described job identification, summary, responsibility etc. The report will give broad
information about duties and responsibilities of jobs, job context, activities need to perform,
delegation of authority, reporting relationship, educational requirement and experiences,
knowledge, skill and abilities (Job Description and Job Specification). This report tries to show
the overall scenario of Janata Bank how they perform their job analysis and based on this how
they set the requirement for the jobs.
Finally, in the last part of the report there is some recommendation given and the conclusion of
the whole report as well. Job analysis is not that much exercised in Bangladesh till now. But this
is the most important part of Human Resource Management. Without which the organization can
never be able to achieve its goal. The right employees who are the reason of success will only be
with the organization if the job analysis would be done perfectly.
