Fee rates for Preparatory Material of the above papers

Any one paper of 100 marks = Rs1200.


All six Compulsory + All six Optionals of 1200 marks = Rs 14,400.
Any six papers of 600 marks = Rs 7200.
Complete prep material for CSS Viva Voce = Rs 2000.
Comprehensive Prep material for PMS = Rs 12,000
Note: Rates include postal registration parcel fee. But for courier delivery candidates pay
additional sum of Rs 1000 for full course and Rs 500 for half.

For Competitive Examination, 2000
No. F.2/1/200 (CSS)-III, it is notified for general information of all concerned that the following
changes/amendments have been made in the rules/syllabus of the competitive Examination effective from CE-2000;
The marks for English Essay and General knowledge Paper-I (Every Day Science) have been increased from 50 to
100 each. Thus total marks for compulsory papers will become 600, thereby increasing written marks from 1100 to
1200.
Two new subjects viz Computer Science and Business Administration have been added in the list of
optional subjects carrying 100 marks each. Readjustment of the grouping of optional subjects has been revised as
under:
