A) Hardware Diagnostics
The Hardware Diagnostics is a DOS based test suite. To run,
leave the Tools & Driver DVD in the cdrom tray and reboot the system.
At the Tools & Driver DVD Main Menu enter '1' to start the Hardware
Diagnostic Test Suite. The test suite comes with a complete set
of test scripts that can configure the system automatically. Read
the README file found in the \diags directory to retrieve a complete
listing of all the scripts. To access this directory type the
following command at the DOS prompt.
cd diags

B) Post-Install OS scripts
The Post-Install OS scripts can be found at the following directories:
/drivers/linux/red_hat/install.sh = Red Hat 32bit and 64bit installation.
/drivers/linux/suse/install.sh = SLES 10 for 64bit
/drivers/sx86/install.sh = Solaris X86 installation.
These scripts should be run after the installation of the OS is
completed. The scripts will install the following:
/drivers/linux/red_hat/install.sh
1) Mounts Diagnostic Partition if one is present.
2) Installs Intel NIC drivers.
3) Installs AST2000 VGA driver.
/drivers/linux/suse/install.sh
1) Mounts Diagnostic Partition if one is present.
2) Installs AST2000 VGA driver.
/drivers/sx86/install.sh
1) Mounts Diagnostic Partition if one is present.
2) Installs AST2000 VGA driver for Solaris 10 Update 1, 2 and 4.

C) Microsoft Windows Driver Installation
The Microsoft Windows drivers can be installed using the Autorun menu.
This menu will be displayed when the Tools & Drivers DVD is inserted into
your Sun Fire X4150/X4250 Server.
Drivers installed, include, the Intel Chipset, Intel Ethernet,
AST2000 VGA driver and the Infineon TPM Security driver.
To manually install any of these drivers, please access the drivers
directory on the DVD.

D) Microsoft Windows RIS Installation
The directions for installing Microsoft Windows via RIS (Remote Installation
Service) can be found at the following directory:
\drivers\windows\IntelNIC\RIS\README.TXT

E) Microsoft Windows 2003 Reburn Instructions
The directions for creating a modified Microsoft Windows 2003 32/64
distribution CD can be found at the following directory:
\utilities\reburn\readme.txt
This details how you can generate a modified distribution bootable
iso image either from a linux (RedHat, SuSE or Solaris) or a windows OS.

The directions for installing the RAID Controller Management Software can be
