Geographic Open Data

from remote sensing

The Preciso products are released with CC-BY 4.0 licence, allowing their free
distribution as Open Data.
The entire production process of Preciso products,
from the analysis of remotely sensed data, to information
level extraction, and their distribution and sharing with
open licences is made having the final goals of
interoperability and quality.

Thanks to characteristics the path to transform Preciso

data in five stars data, as described in the paradigm
of Tim Berners-Lee, and in Linked Open Data is very
short.

Because spatial datasets must be open and usable too.

The information content of Preciso family products is
developed following standard formats and international
rules:

The data model is compliant with INSPIRE;

Metadata are compliant with Italian RNDT Technical

Specifications;

The licence of use is cc-by 4.0;

The entire production process is compliant with

quality guidelines approved by EARSC ISO 9001
standards.
