EASTER SUNRISE SERVICE will be at Saguaro National Park East Sunday, April 5 at 6:30am. It is a privilege
to be able to worship in this beautiful setting. There is very little space to park at the Javelina Picnic area
and so we ask that you meet at the church to ride a bus over with us. Please be early as our transportation will leave promptly at 6am.
CLOTHING DRIVE for Casa de los Nios. April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Please help raise
awareness and participate in the community-wide clothing drive to benefit the children. Beginning
March 29, we will have a box available for your donation.
POWWOW is April 18th! We need lots of volunteers to help out on that morning. We get started around
6am and end around 11am. Any time you can give is much appreciated! For more information you can
contact Kevin Prahar.
CHILDREN WORSHIP AND WONDER Sunday, April 19 at 10:00am we will offer a training session for anyone who is interested in leading or greeting our children worship and wonder during 11am worship services. We will hear a story, have a sample childrens moment and go over the duties of our storytellers
and greeters and look at scheduling through the summer.
2015 WOMENS FAIR Womens Fair will be April 25, from 10:00am-3:00pm at Foothills Christian Church.
Registration forms are available in the Narthex at the Disciple Womens Ministry bulletin board.
SPRING BOUTIQUE Saturday, May 9, 2015, the Saguaro Disciple Womens Ministry will be sponsoring a
boutique from 8am to 2pm. As you are going through your closets this spring, please put aside your very
special clothes to donate to the boutique. We accept gently used clothes, shoes, purses and collectibles.
The money will go to create a scholarship for SICP. We will be accepting your donations after Easter.
ELDERS PANTRY Our elders pantry is looking very healthy right now. All of your contributions are greatly
appreciated. Please keep in mind as we move into April and May that we will need to keep it stocked.
However, the only items that we are in immediate need of are peanut butter and canned fruit.
