activated. This can happen in two ways:
Manually on Aastra 400 Activation Portal
Automatically as soon as a licence is
bought

Installer has to enter the licence code


into the system
A valid licence code enables the full set
of business class telephony features
Without a valid code, the system will fall
into the restricted mode after two hours

When activating the system, the


software warranty period begins to start
