Narrative Report
The Far Eastern University Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants (FEU-JPIA) organized the 2 nd
Accounting Battle: The MASH UP! This is an intra-school accounting competition to test the unity of each
member, their intelligence and also their physical skills. The Accounting Battle held in EB rooms 201-204 last
January 26, 2015.
The 2nd Accounting Battle: MASH UP is to be participated by PAIRS. Each pair composed of two
members. This competition is open to 3rd year and 4th year Internal Auditing Students and 4th and 5th Accountancy
Students. Each year levels had own distinct Levels. Level 1 for 3rd year Internal Auditing students, Level 2 for 4 th
year internal auditing Student, Level 3 for 4th year accountancy Students and Level 4 for 5th year Accountancy
Students.
The 2nd Accounting Battle: MASH UP is covered by several accounting subjects. Each year level has
different battles. Battle 1 (WHOLESOME) is for 3rd year IA. The subjects covered are Cost Accounting, Financial
accounting 1&2, Law on Obligations and Contracts and Business Law and Taxation. Battle 2 (DIE HARD) is for 4 th
year IA. The subjects covered are Financial and Cost Management, Audit communications 1 and Managerial

Accounting. Battle 3 (SURVIVORS) is for 4th year Accountancy. The subjects

covered are Advanced Accounting, Auditing Theory and Management Accounting 1&2. Battle 4 (THE PIONEERS)
is for 5th year Accountancy. The subjects covered are Theory of Accounts, Management Advisory Services, Practical
Accounting 1&2. Each battle composed of three rounds- mild, midway and tough round. The winners of each battle
are proceeds to the FINAL BATTLE. The FINAL BATTLE covered the following subjects: Financial Accounting,
Business & Transfer Taxes and Law on Obligation and Contracts. The FINAL BATTLE consists of five levels of
challenges. This Battle is not only the test of intelligence but also the ability skills. Each pair had be given 30
seconds to answer the question after that they played the MINUTE to WIN IT.
