Lesson Summary

The percentage is essential in life. However, many people do not realize its application in their daily
life. We have 30 students. The teacher will prepare the things to sell. We ask them to divide
themselves into 6 groups. 3 group of buyers and 3 group of sellers. The sellers will decide the
price and the discount percentage of the products. The buyers have to decide which group
offers the lowest price with minimal guidance from the teacher. The idea is the student can
learn to choose the best price for the same product from different sellers.
We will ask each group of buyers to decide their choice and present their reasons. Then we
evaluate and explain if there is a mistake. After that they will switch the position and do the
same procedure. They will repeat the same procedure until they have a better understanding
about the topic
