Who are behind KIDEX?

The people behind the idea are trained veterans who have successfully completed hundreds of
projects and continue to maintain them with utmost dedication. The expressway is proposed and
will be built by Kidex Sdn Bhd which is a division of the reputed Zabima Engineering and
Construction who is also associating with Emrail Sdn Bhd.
Both the companies have a solid reputation in the industry and also hold the highest certification
including PKK Class A and the CIDB G7. These certificates are awarded only to contractors who
have displayed consistent performance through the years. The companies have worked with
multiple projects including railway, bridge construction, civil projects and water dispersal
treatment.

What is Kidex highway/ expressway?

The project is a fully elevated expressway which spreads through a distance of 14.9 kilometers and
will play an important role in the daily activities of those who reside in the Selangor area. It helps
them reduce traffic and reach the place they need to be in the shortest possible time.

Where does the expressway begin and end?

The road starts right at the NKVE Damansara toll gate which where the traffic will merge and start
getting onto the expressway. It will cover a lot of areas in between including the Lebuhraya Bukit
Jalit, SKIP highway and will reach the Putrajaya.

When was the project official confirmed?

The Kidex project was approved by the federal government in the year 2013. The project was
approved only after a detailed environmental impact assessment was done and the results were
completely positive. Not only the EIA, but other important activities and certifications were
completed before it was formally approved by the government. The expressway has also received

due approval from the state government in 2012. The idea was originally submitted in 2011 and
only after a detailed analysis; it has now been brought into the forefront as a public welfare project.

Why is the Kidex so important to everyone?

KIDEX or the Kinrara Damansara Expressway is an exceptionally important expressway for the
residents, people who use the route every day and also for the trucks, lorries which use the
highway for daily transport. The connection join plays an integral role in connecting different parts
of the city which is why it has witnessed exceptional traffic even on weekends and continue to be an
issue for the residents.
When the expressway is successfully completed and brought into daily use, people living in the area
