The Roedean Cup will be awarded to the most outstanding performance (adjudicator's
decision is final) in any class and any section within the Festival.

CONCERTS
Following the success of the concerts which followed the 2014 Festival, Springboard will be arranging
similar events after the 2015 Festival.
Amanda Cook, our adjudicator will be recommending performances from the Guitar section.
You may be one of the performers who will be invited to play at one of the following concerts, so
please make a note of the dates so that you are available.
Springboard Concert
Saturday 28 March 2015 at 7.30pm
at Brighton & Hove High School

A guitarist may be asked to play at our concert of Festival highlights.

One advanced player from the Guitar Section may be invited to give a short recital of 12-15 minutes,
along with other instrumentalists.

GUITAR GENERAL RULES

1. Own choice throughout


2. Any number of pieces to fit in with the given time limit.
3. An Own Choice piece may be used only once in the Festival (except when used in the
Final of the Junior or Senior Piano Championship).
4. Performers must provide their own accompaniment where needed.
5. Copies of music or scores are required for the Adjudicator for all classes.
AWARDS
A Festival Medal will be awarded to the performer with the highest mark in any competitive class for
15 years and under
