2009-10 Agreement for Residential Natural Gas

Appliance Rebates
October 1, 2009 – March 31, 2010
The following rebates are effective October 1, 2009 through March 31, 2010 for new and existing single family detached, attached, and
multifamily housing (multifamily may not exceed 4 living units in a single building). Submit Agreement to:
Natural Gas Sales Department, 2602 Jackson Bluff Road, #B11, Tallahassee, FL 32304 (Fax 891-5323).
A copy of the installing contractor’s invoice or paid receipt (or proposal if in City Loan Program) must be submitted with this form.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION REGARDING REBATES

a) Rebates are for the first new natural gas appliance of each type; or the replacement of natural
gas appliances at a given address, except as indicated for Gas Lights.
b) Each appliance rebate cannot exceed the total installed cost for that appliance as indicated
by invoice, receipt, or proposal.
c) Conversion rebates are for new natural gas appliances as well as to electric-to-natural gas,
propane-to-natural gas, and oil-to-natural gas appliance replacements. Replacement
appliance rebates are for natural gas-to-natural gas appliance replacements.
d) Must have or install at least a natural gas water heater or gas space heating to receive range,
firelog, dryer, grill, pool/spa or gas light rebates.
e) “Combination appliances”, which heat the home as well as the water, qualify for the furnace +
water heater rebates ($1,375) only if a complete new system is installed (high capacity gas
water heater, hydronic loop and controls).
f) $2,000 Gold Package Rebates applies if a new water heater, new furnace [or a combination appliance],
and either a new gas range or new dryer are installed – all in one job. The $425 “Gold Package
Bonus” brings the total rebate to $2,000.
g) $1,000 Gold Package Rebates apply if the following natural gas appliances are replaced in one job:
water heater, furnace (or a combination appliance) and either a natural gas range or dryer. The $200
“Gold Package Bonus” brings the total rebate to $1,000.
h) The $2,000 Gold Package Rebate may be applied to any customer who replaces one natural gas
appliance – either a dryer or range – AND adds a water heater and furnace.
i) If a homebuilder or contractor applies for the rebate, the property owner/customer must sign the rebate
application form.
