1. FOREWORD
CAMA-III PTZ cameras feature advanced, state-of-the-art technical solutions the CCTV branch
provides. This instruction describes NVC-ISD322DN/NVC-ISD336DN cameras. Thanks to their
technical features and operational properties they fit both sophisticated and simple security systems.
The idea of integrated PTZ cameras is based on integrating a motor-zoom camera with a pan/tilt device,
controlled via an RS-485/RS-422 bus. Devices feature 1/4" SONY CCDs that allow efficient operation
in adverse illumination conditions. Camera's software simplifies performing tasks required in CCTV
systems, such as presets, patterns, tours, privacy zones, auto day/night switching and, finally, an
Auto-Flip feature. Cama-III devices belong to the In-Genius series which feature advanced image
analysis functions, allowing for automatic object tracking, detecting an object's appearance, object
disappearance, crossing a virtual line/entering of the virtual zone by the object, or detecting an object's
motion.

To assure proper camera operation and to prevent damage, each camera must have a unique address
(ID). Camera address is set by three 10-position switches: S1 (for units), S2 (for tens) and S3 (for
hundreds) that allow to set camera address from 0 up to 999.
When installing multiple dome cameras in a system and utilizing DVR, it is suggested that each camera
address should match the DVR port number.
Method of setting parameters mentioned above has been presented in the following subsections of this
manual.
7.4.1 SETTING TRANSMISJON PROTOCOL
Switches S5-1, S5-2, S5-3 and S6-4 are for setting the control protocol. The camera is equipped with
the automatic protocol detection and it is advised to leave all of the above switches to OFF (default
