Thesynchronizationmodecontrolshowtheprimaryvolumebehaveswhenthesecondaryvolumeis
unavailable.

HighAvailabilityMode:AcceptsIOrequeststotheprimaryvolumewhenthesecondaryvolumeis
unavailable(orwhenlatencyistoohigh)toavoidinterruptingservice.However,ifwritesareacceptedto

Secure Data (Self-Encrypting Drives)

Storage Center6.5addssupportforSecureData,whichprovidesdataatrestencryptionwithself
encryptingdrives(SEDs)thatareFederalInformationProcessingStandard(FIPS)1402certified.Toprotect
dataatrest,allSEDsinaSecureDatadiskfolderlockwhenpowerisremoved(LockonResetenabled).
Whenpowerisremovedfromthedrive,thedrivecannotbeunlockedwithoutanauthoritycredential.
TheSelfEncryptingDrivesfeaturemustbelicensedonaStorage CentertouseSecureData.UsingSecure
