question, How do we solve it? Heres what we found: Look at any pack on the market, then look at the human back.
Does one look anything like the other? No. Most packs are flat and the human back is contoured. We looked at puzzles,
nuts & bolts, car doors and came up with the groundbreaking realization that if two pieces dont fit together, they
dont function. Now.moving on to that second and most important question How do we solve it?
Simply put, Badlands packs are molded, sculpted and cut to mimic and match the human form perfectly. This allows
our equipment to work in harmony with the bodys own natural movement and not against it. The end result
is a pack that actually fits your curves so perfectly that hot spots and pressure points are all but eliminated. This
in turn allows pulmonary circulation to stay strong and performance to peak for far longer. Yes, we just dropped

WHY DID WE DO IT?

I

n the world of tactical features, companies have focused on two areas - durability and a lot of pockets. And
why not; who doesnt want their gear to last forever, while simultaneously carrying every gadget they own?
However, as the clich would have it, these are only the tip of the proverbial iceberg.
We find it interesting that technology has advanced significantly in the last decade but, tactical packs and
accessories have not. New fabrics which are twice as strong, yet weigh half as much, increased knowledge in
ergonomics and biomechanics, vastly improved manufacturing techniques, none of these can be found in todays
gear. This is exactly why we decided to get into this market.
Badlands has spent the last 20 years relentlessly pursuing the science behind just about everything to do with
humping weight. Our products have been to some of the most hostile environments this planet has to offer, in areas
and circumstances where your life literally depends on your equipments ability to perform. With every trip that
doesnt kill us, we learn a bit more about making the best products in the world.

manufacturer in the world. They push the envelope by
using exotic threads and substrates that set new
standards in durability and weight reduction. We
selected their Keprotec fabric that uses a proprietary
technique of fusing Kevlar and Cordura to construct
a fabric that is twice as abrasion and tear resistant
as 1080D Cordura while weighing less than half. It's
also the most expensive, but whos counting? (sorry to
all our Bean Counters) In addition to using top tier fabric
technology, we took it a step further. When strength
and reliability is a matter of life and death we take it a
few steps further and incorporate a material called
Hypalon. Taken from the industrial gasket industry, it is
basically the strongest material we can sew through
