Notable Professors

Grading

Grading

ISC may just be the ideal teaching environment:

Students' academic performance is assessed based on four different criteria: exams, assignments,
attendance, and class participation. Each professor, however, may prefer a different attendance policy,
students should follow the professor's guidelines in such cases. Generally, course performance is graded on
the following 100-point scale:

The students are very smart and motivated.

The support staff makes it possible to concentrate on teaching rather
than on logistics, and this includes a problem-free stay in Seoul.
The colleagues are generous, friendly, and fascinating.
This is a great experience.

What is the difference

between the International
Summer Campus and the
Korean Language and
Culture Center?
How can I find out the
status of my application
and payment?
Can I take the internship
program only?
What if I arrive late for
the program?

The Korean Language & Culture Center focuses solely on Korean

language education and culture exchange programs during the
summer, whereas the KUISC provides diverse credit-bearing
academic courses, which are transferable to all major universities.
The medium for all lectures at KUISC is English, excluding Korean
language courses.
You may visit our website and select view/change your application
under the registration menu.

No, the internship is part of the KUISC program and only students
who are fully registered will be given an opportunity to apply.

All the students are expected to be present for the first day of the
program. However, if you cannot arrive for the first day of your class,
you must notify your professors of your proposed arrival date and
obtain permission for late arrival. Professors' contact information is
on the syllabi of their courses on the KUISC website.
