The cause of the extinction of venacular.
The vernacular are increasingly disappearing and almost extinct. The extinction of the
venacular is influenced by several factors. First, because of the influence of globalization and
the entry of foreign languages. The impact of globalization makes people more likely to use
the international language, for example English. For some people, knowing English become
a vital asset. Nowdays, most of school even in elementary school obligate their students
speak in English daily. By this regulation, the intensity to speak with vernacular or local
language become decrease and be forgotten by them soon. Some of young people right now
ashamed to speak with their vernacular or local language because opinion that vernacular was
so oldest and countrified. So, they afraid of getting laugh and bullied by other because speak
the vernacular or local language. Second, the lack of socialization or learning from parents to
children about the local language. Many parents choose an English education for their
children. Many parents are more likely to encourage their children to learn English. So their

children are more fluent in English than the language of their own region. Third, because
these language have no written form, there are no books. As a consequence, students are not
taught it at school. The majority of the vernacular or local language users are old people. So,
as old people die, the language dies with them. The extinction of the vernacular is very
detrimental. So, we should keep our regional language from extinction and domination of the
foreign languages.
