How to pray for people in the
community:
 Pray for receptive & repentant
hearts. “…the seed on good soil stands for those
with a noble & good heart, who hear the word,
retain it, & by persevering produce a crop.”
Luke 8:5-12.
 Pray for their spiritual eyes to be
opened to the truth of Christ. “The god of
this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so
that they cannot see the light of the gospel of
the glory of Christ, who is the image of God” 2
Corinthians 4:3-4.
 Pray for them to be convicted of
their sins. “When he comes, he (the Holy
Spirit) will convict the world of guilt in regard
to sin & righteousness & judgment” John 16:8.
 Pray for the person to be released
to believe. “Those who oppose him he must
gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant
them repentance leading them to a knowledge
of the truth, & that they will come to their
senses & escape from the trap of the devil, who
has taken them captive to do his will” 2
Timothy 2:25-26.
 Pray for a transformation of their
lives. Jesus declared, "I tell you the truth, no one
can see the kingdom of God unless he is born
again.” John 3:3
 Pray for God to send them into His
harvest field. “The harvest is plentiful but the
workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest,
therefore, to send out workers into his harvest
field.” Matthew 9:35-38.

News to be communicated clearly &

position to boldly impact lives for Christ.
