Dear Sir/Madam,

I have always been fascinated by any kind of electronic devices. I still

remember how, as a kid, I used to dismantle old cassette players or electronic
toys just to take a look at their circuit boards or speakers. I was very curious and
couldnt manage to find any other way of getting to know how exactly they were
functioning. Of course, tearing them down didnt help too much because, at the
time, I didnt have any scientific knowledge required to understand which
component does what, but I knew from the start that there is no better job for me
than a technical one.
Throughout my school years, I have always striven to be one of the top
students and I reckon that this qualifies me as a hard working, perseverant
student who is always eager to learn new things. My interest in physics and
mathematics has developed my logical way of thinking and, thus has given me
the ability to identify the source of a problem by using a troubleshooting process
suitable to the case. There are several other abilities which have been improved
by my implication in a series of extra-curricular activities. Being a member of our
high school theatre group, Experimenthalia for three years has helped me to
develop my social skills and taught me how to successfully work in a team, taking
into consideration everyones needs and working together to achieve a common
goal. Besides theatre, I have participated in many projects organised by an NGO,
Partnership for Europe Association, whose goal is Education for Democratic
citizenship. During these activities, I have learnt how to manage a team of 5 8
teenagers while being a trainer. Besides all these activities, I have played electric
guitar in a band for several years as my enthusiasm towards music is really high.
Also, I have travelled as much as possible because I personally think that this is
the best way to broaden my horizon in terms of different cultures and societies.
Since last year, when I first went to Denmark, I have spent a lot of time
thinking whether I should choose to study abroad or not because I am aware that
this is an important decision which I cannot take back. At first, my parents didnt
like the idea of me going far away from them for a long period of time, but I
persuaded them into accepting my choice by giving them irrefutable arguments
such as the job opportunities I can find in Denmark. Having taken into
consideration all aspects of living in another country, I am confident that
Denmark provides a qualitative educational system and a suitable environment
for self-development on all levels in which I will definitely manage to easily
integrate.
I chose IT Network and Electronics Technology as a subject for my bachelor
studies at Business Academy Aarhus because I have always been thrilled by the
way a computer works and I wish to deepen myself in this area of expertise.
When I first used the Internet, I thought it was a magical creature which somehow
knows everything. As time went by and I found out a bit more about it, I realised
that the informational revolution brought by computers and Internet is the best
thing that has ever happened to mankind.
After getting my master degree I dream of working for a big, multi-national
company because then, I would have the opportunity to work in a well organised

structure and meet people from different backgrounds and with different areas of
work which will definitely be an exciting work environment for me.
Sincerely,
Cosmin Cornel
