By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:

(P)Perform a pass to a partner using the correct skill cues at least three
times by the end of the first activity. (NASPE;1 MA CF 2.17; Activity #1)
(C)Identify the correct grip throwing with a lacrosse stick with 100%
accuracy at the end of the lesson.(NASPE 2; MA CF 2.17; Closure)
(A)Practice safety by not throwing the tennis ball when someone is in the
way throughout the whole lesson.(NASPE 5; MA CF 2.26; Entire lesson)

students pinnies. There will be 4

different colors with 3 people in

up in those groups on numbers.

One group on the 10, one on the
20, one on the 30, and one on the
40. Students without the pinnies
will get into groups of three and
will be 20 feet away facing the
opposite group in pinnies. They
will practice passing on the run to
the person in front of the line.
They will pass when they are
about half way to the other line.
The passer will move to the back
of the line as the person who
catches it will run toward the other
line and throw.

Transition:Students will get the

pinnies and into their groups. They

will move to either the 10, 20, 30,
or 40 yard line. They will then wait
for the ready signal.

practice throwing on the run.

players. Teams will rotate on
teachers whistle.
