Above: The wonderful series of Concertinos (a short Concerto possibly in one movement) and Concertos published by Bosworth(cover Grades 2-8)
I have a sampled a collection of covers of most of the violin student's repertoire in my "Violin Music" Album on my Flickr site

Above: The wonderful "Young Violinist" (now called "Violinist's First Lessons") by Fortunatov.
This book has the best collection of repertoire for Children in their first two years of study... now available from Ruslania
The best advice I can give to those who use this list: (and this is where many students go wrong)
Learn a piece which matches your ability: If you have your Grade_5 certificate, and think you should now be playing pieces from the
Grade_6 list then think again. You are qualified to play Grade 5 pieces, so don't ignore the Grade_5 list yet, especially if there are a number of
them that you have never played. This will also increase your skills and style faster than playing Grade 6 pieces.
Step Back to raise your level quickly: If you failed your Grade_5 you must return to Grade_4 pieces, and even mix in some Grade_3 pieces.
Consolidate regularly by going back a grade.
Step Back anyway: If you only passed Grade 5, and want to play Grade 6 pieces, then you are only comfortably qualified to play Grade 4
pieces, so learn as many Grade 4 pieces as you can, and then do the same for a large number of Grade 5 pieces.
Don't learn pieces that are too hard for you: If you can learn 5 Grade 4 pieces in the same time it takes to learn only 2 Grade 5 pieces then
the 5 Grade 4 pieces will help you more.
Below studies and key works are marked in bold. Encore pieces are listed before and Concerti after Studies.

Left Hand: Always use 50% less finger pressure than you are using.
Left Hand: Always shift more slowly and more smoothly than you ever thought possible.
Left hand: For articulation, you need to lift your fingers with spring; they will fall effortlessly of their own accord (gravity).
Left hand: As a general rule, whenever possible, keep fingers down on the fingerboard. (Don't lift 1 & 2 when playing a 3).
