Save $6 per square foot, up to $500 per fully insulated home, when
upgrading your single-pane windows or double-pane aluminum
framed windows to windows with a U-factor of .30 or lower. The
tariffs and funding supporting this program may be subject to
change without notice. This Puget Sound Energy weatherization

Directions:
Carefully fill out this application and submit to PSE with the following
information. Please keep copies for your records.
1. A paid invoice showing total square footage of window
replacement from your installing window contractor
2. Copies of National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) stickers
affixed to each type of window. If stickers are not available, a
window manufacturer’s confirmation order may be used.

Benefits of a fully insulated home:
To truly enjoy the benefits of energy-efficient windows and to qualify
for this rebate, your home must be fully insulated with at least R-38
insulation in attic, R-11 insulation in walls and R-19 insulation in
floors. For a limited time, PSE also offers up to $1,600 in instant
rebates for insulation measures.

General qualifications:
•  Home must be fully insulated with at least R-38 insulation in attic, R-11
insulation in walls and R-19 insulation in floors.
•  Must be a residential PSE customer who uses electricity or natural gas
from PSE as the main heating source and installs qualifying windows in a
structure with four units or less.
•  Rebate form must be submitted within 90 days of equipment installation.
•  Upgrade from existing single-pane windows or double-pane aluminum
framed windows to energy-efficient windows (.30 U-factor or lower
certified by the NFRC).
•  Have a licensed, bonded and insured contractor install windows to
manufacturer specifications. It is recommended but not required that you
choose contractors that have received window installation certification
through the Installation Masters program.
•  Rebate does not apply to new construction, additions that expand the
home’s square or cubic footage or do-it-yourself installations.
•  One rebate for window upgrades per site address. All customers receiving
rebates automatically agree to periodic inspection.
How contractors can participate:
•  Install qualifying windows to replace single-pane or double-pane
aluminum framed windows.
•  Provide an invoice to your customer identifying the total square footage of
the replaced single-pane or double-pane aluminum framed windows and
all NFRC stickers certifying U-factors of the newly installed windows.
Disclaimer/No Liability:
PSE does not guarantee any particular energy-savings results by installation of
the weatherization measures proposed by the independent contractor. PSE is
providing customers (“program participant(s)”) who desire certain weatherization
measures with a rebate when an independent contractor installs such measures.
PSE is not involved in evaluating the weatherization measures that may be
suggested by the independent contractor to a program participant.
The independent contractor and its employees are not employees of PSE,
and PSE will not be supervising the work performed by the independent
contractor for program participants. As such, any issues related to the work
undertaken for the program participant should be addressed directly with the
independent contractor because PSE shall not be responsible in any way for
proper completion of the work or proper performance of any product acquired
by a program participant under this weatherization program. By accepting the
rebate, program participants agree to these terms and assume the risk of any
loss or damage(s).
PSE has made no implied or express warranties or representation with regard
to these products or energy savings from their installation.
This rebate is payable under terms and conditions of PSE’s tariff filed with the
Washington State Utilities and Transportation Commission. The tariffs, funding
and weatherization program may be subject to change without notice.
PSE will review your rebate application and determine if your window upgrade
qualifies for the rebate.
By signing below, I represent that all information on this form is true. I have read,

that the energy-efficient windows described above have been installed at the
location indicated and replaced single-pane or double-pane aluminum framed
windows in a home using PSE electricity or natural gas as its main source of
