Discrepancies noticed at SKND Panel Interlocking

(A) MAJOR DISCREPANCIES:

1. UP Distant & Flyover line DN Distant are not in working order.
2. Bunching of 16 strand cables has not been done inside the Relay room.
3. Approved Circuit diagram is not available.
4. SIP, Relay disposition, Location particulars, Contact analysis chart, IPS Power
distribution diagram, Track bonding plan, FPD, Cable corage plan, Cable route plan,
RCC etc not available at SKND.
5. E-type locks are not provided in any Battery location box.
6. No Crank Handle telephone provided in any of 08 CH Locations.
7. Line No. 6 berthing Track Axle counter not working.
8. GI wire double bonding with Transverse bond has not been done.
9. No Register has been provided for Track circuit record, Point measurement record,
Axle counter maintenance records, Counter registers, TLBI (Diado) records, Earth
testing record etc.
10. IPS earth value measured more than 10 Ohm and new earthing required.
11. North & South LED Boards are not fixed on DN Home signals & UP Advance starter
signals of SKND Yard.
12. Plastic table & Chairs have been provided at Relay room for circuit reading.
13. No Exhaust fan has been provided in the battery room.
14. For UP direction, when S-1 set to Line-1 with dead end then for DN direction the
S-2 set to Line-4 with dead end as overlap is not being possible.
15. SH-5 for UP direction when taken off for any route (A to F) then the UP Advance
starter to Flyover line (S-43) rises back if taken off.
16. Power cable not laid for SSDAC from Relay room to both side Goomty.
17. The load distribution of New & Old IPS has not been done proportional to Battery
capacity such that the new Statcon IPS takes around 40Amp on 110V DC with 300AH
battery Bank & Old HBL IPS takes around 10Amp on 110V DC with 200AH Battery
bank.
18. Spare Signalling cables used in place of power cable therefore no spare signaling cable
core available from Relay room to both sides Goomty.
19. Earthing of IPS is more than 10 Ohm so that should be shifted to a suitable location
(Preferably near OFC hut) for proper surge protection.
20. For New laid 6- quad cable between SKND-JKPR cable layout diagram not provided.
The list of Joints & location particulars and Emergency sockets position are also not
provided.
21. The Quarter JBs used for 6-quad cable termination are not earthed with cable armour in
the section, which will give rise noisy communication in RE area.
22. Power cable not laid from Relay room to UP Goomty for 110V DC & 24V DC
23. Datalogger has not been provided.
24. Sand filling and plastering is not done inside the relay room.
