A housing society has organized a trekking camp to deep forest reserve of 10000 Square
Kilometer. A group of thirty comprising 12 women and 18 men went in to adventure. Tarun an
army officer. Arnab a doctor by profession.Rekha a, MBA from Wharton run a business
deals in mountaineering and trekking equipment has grown 400 % in last two years.Prabhat
an ex- army trained commando. They are the few distinguised persons known to all in the
group.
Subash a guide hired for navigation. The group under the guidance of Subhas reached in the
mid of forest reserve. Within an hour of arrival the hovering clouds since morning getting dense
to denser inspiring the fear of unknown in the large population of group. Within no time the
unknown fright manifested in the form of torrent of water. The cloud poured everything "cloud
burst" has inundated a good part of reserve the river has breached the banks and washed away
the only bridge. The vehicles are under water up to window and unmovable and no use as all
roads are washed away.
The group has food for a day as it was only a day trip. The navigating maps were showing
second bridge nearly 20 KM away and nearest human habitat in village around it is 25 KM after
the bridge. The day is falling and in the twilight of dusk the group starts realizing that they are in
trouble. The members are of diverse opinion on the issue of should they stay or move in the
jungle as the of quantum disaster, and how long they have to wait for rescue is not known. Few
are even blaming on each other for inviting and dragging them in trouble as it was cloudy and
coming to deep forest is not a great idea.
Q-Who as the group you will choose as leader.
Q-what action you suggest for the group as a leader.
Q-what are your assumptions.
