A) Structural Details
The structure will be semi arch in shape and assembled at site with nut, bolts and
washers alone without any welding. This enables easy implanting and full
adaptation to all related sub systems used in modern poly house.

1. Cladding or Poly house covering materials

Selection of appropriate covering material to transmit light energy inside the

poly house structure is very tedious and crop specific. Most of poly house
manufactures take only the Uv stabilized (Ultra violet rays) and light
transmission factors of covering material into consideration and compromise
the other factors like humidity, Antivirus properties, dust, sulpher and
dripping problems etc, which play major role in crop viability. The company
uses 200 MICRON THICK FIVE LAYERED UVA POLYSHEET as covering
material which is manufactured by world leader like GINEGAR, ISRAEL or
PLASTIKA CURTIS, GREECE or SUNCOOL, INDIA. Companies having the
technology available for manufacturing crop specific polyhouse film providing
all desired properties meting the European, US and Israeli standards.
2. Poly House Ventilation system:
Providing natural ventilation in poly house structure is a very vital issue
without using any energy. Our structure imparts natural ventilation to plants
through open area of 40- 45% of floor area provide on the four side walls
where manually operated plastic curtains are mounted in pipe rod which can
be easily rolled up & down as per the requirement and operated by GI clips
and opening of ventilator are permanently covered with 40 mesh Antivirus
net which check the entry of white flies and other insects to polyhouse and
simultaneously provide natural passage for exit of hot air through top and
sides. All the ventilations are covered with Antivirus net of standard
companies.

3. Insect net, Shade Net and Apron Paper:

Insect net: Uv proof insect net or crystal net of 40 mesh size is provided on
the side wall and top vents for imparting natural ventilation and checking
insect entry to polyhouse structure includes white flies. It ensures potential
reduction in pesticide use and is quite saving in long run. The net will be of
standard companies
Shade Net: 50% white shade Net with manual operation.
Apron Paper: The apron paper will be with plastic lamination on both the
sides. It will be UV Stablised for long lasting.
4. Poly Cover Fixing & Locking systems:
The proper stretching of polysheet covering is quite essential for the
transmission of light in the required wavelength of (400 700 nm). We use
non rusting smooth surfaced/ edged GI profiles for fixing polysheet on sides

and top of structures where polysheet is inserted through it and locked with
help of zig- zag springs. GI profiles and GI spring hold the following
properties.
GI Profile: Smooth edged (no damage to sheet) in standard length of 4
meter.
Advantage: Rust free surface and non tearing/ punching of poly Sheet.
GI Spring 2 2.5 mm diameter having excellent elasticity provide high
resistance to strong wind, made of galvanized wire inside polythene coating
coated for the longer life. Reusable during plastic change, uniform extrusion
for load distribution, enhances the life of the plastic.
5. Trellising System OPTIONAL:
Trellising system is provided for supporting the vegetable plant climbers. It
consists of 3 and 4mm GI wires across each bed-about 10 wires in one span.
This wire is supported on both the ends with 8mm steel wire rope tied to the
end bars in the ground at 80 cm depth. The system is essentially
required for vegetables and as such optional (additional costRs.20.00 per sq mtrs).
C) Micro Irrigation System:
1) Header Unit: It compromises of sand filter, disc filter. Ventury for
fertigation will also be provided.
2) Dripline: 16mm flat lateral of spacing 30cms/20cms will be provided as
per requirement.
3) Fogger : 4 way cross foggers will be provided at spacing of 9 sqmtrs.
4) Pvc pipe: The pipe required inside the polyhouse will be of Finolex/
Netafem/Plasto/Prince make.
D) Bed Preparation and Plantation:
It comprises of soil and water testing, fumigation, soil and bed preparation,
plantation. The cost of land levelling is to be borne by the owner.
E) Price Structure(per 4000 SqMtrs):
Rs. 760 per sq. mt (Including Insurance Cover)
Terms & Conditions:
1) Payment:
a) 10% Notional Advance.
b) 60% before the dispatch of Structure material.
c) 20% before the dispatch of Planting material and balance 10% PDC.

2) The structural installation will be carried by our company through its

authorized technicians only. Company will not be held responsible for the
validity of the structure if client carries the installation work through any
other un- authorized technicians not provided by company to carry the jobs.
3) The structure will be erected within 80 days by the company of first advance
except for unforeseen reasons beyond our capacity.
4) Punjab Polyagro does not guarantee loan approvals, it totally depends on
individuals credit history and financials. Normal time taken by bank is 15-20
days to process the loan.
5) Subsidy release is purely dependent on material used with specifications of
NHM/NHB and fund availability with NHM/NHB.
The above mentioned cost is just an estimate. Exact and final cost
will be provided with final project report.
