PROVISIONAL OFFER OF ADMISSION TO MBA PROGRAMME-2015


Dear Candidate,
On the basis of your performance in the admission process, you are hereby offered provisional admission to
the MBA Programme 2015 at this Institute. You are required to communicate your acceptance by the
following procedure and send the downloaded copy of the same to Chairman, PG Admission Office,
Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, Roorkee- 247 667, Uttarakhand so as to reach this office,
latest by May 20, 2015 (Wednesday) along with a downloaded IITR copy of Challan duly stamped by the
bank as a proof of deposit of requisite dues with the bank. In case the acceptance of offer and IITR copy
of Challan are not received latest by May 20, 2015, you will not be considered for admission and offer
being made shall be terminated automatically.
Process for acceptance of offer of admission and deposit of Institute fee.
Step 1: Access the website http://pgadm.iitr.ernet.in/mba .
Step 2: Login to your account (created at the time of apply online) and click on Admission Offered.
Step 3: If admission is offered to you then you see Accept the Offer button.
Step 4: Click on the button and fill your bank account details and submit the form .
Step 5: Download Acceptance Form and Bank Challan simultaneously (Take a print out of the entire file
on A4 size white sheets).
After downloading the Acceptance Form and Challan from the website http://pgadm.iitr.ernet.in/mba,
immediately deposit the Institute fee of Rs. 1,18,380/- (General/OBC Category) / Rs. 18,380/- (SC/ST
category) in any branch of State Bank of India throughout the country on or before May 20, 2015. (Bank
Service Charges of Rs. 40/- will be extra). Bank will retain a copy and will return two copies to you and out
of these two copies, retain Candidates copy with you and attach the IITRs copy with the Acceptance of
Offer.
Note:

The fee will not be accepted through any other mode.

Terms and conditions:


1. You shall be required to appear for registration in person on July 14, 2015 and classes shall begin
from July 20, 2015..
2. At the time of registration, you shall be required to deposit another sum of Rs. 16,000/- (Rupees
Fourteen thousand five hundred only) towards mess dues by Demand Draft drawn in favour of the
Chairman, CCB, IIT Roorkee, payable at Roorkee.

3. At the time of registration, you shall be required to produce the following documents in ORIGINAL for
reference and attested photocopies of the same to be attached with admission form:
a) This letter of admission offer;
b) RESULT CARD of CAT-2014 for admission to MBA Programme;
c) Attested copy of marks-sheet of the qualifying examination showing essential requirements; (In case
the result for the qualifying examination has not been declared by the date of registration, you may
be permitted to submit the results till September 30, 2015, failing which the admission/registration
will stand cancelled automatically. However, you must have completed all the requirements of the
qualifying degree on the date of registration. The admission will remain provisional until you submit
the results indicating successful completion of the requirements of the qualifying degree by the date
of registration and other requirements);
d) Attested copies of certificates and marks-sheets of High School or equivalent examination;
e) The SC/ST candidates must bring with them original (along with an attested copy) of Category
Certificate, issued by a competent authority as specified in the MBA Information Brochure 2015;
f)

The PD (Persons with Disability) candidates must bring with them original (along with an attested
copy) of Medical Deficiency Certificate, issued by Medical Board/Chief Medical Officer of a
government Hospital.

g) The OBC candidates must bring original (along with an attested copy) of Category Certificate,
issued after March 31, 2014 by a competent authority on the prescribed format available on
the Institute Website www.iitr.ernet.in. Please note that category in which you belong must be
available in the list of Other Backward Classes issued by the Central Govt. of India in its
latest notification failing which your case will be considered only if your name stand in the
merit list of General Category.
h) In case you have not received the degree or the result of qualifying examination a Certificate from
the College/University wherefrom you have appeared for the qualifying degree examination be
submitted stating that you have qualified for degree with requisite percentage of marks/grades.
You are entirely responsible for proving your eligibility for admission as per the qualification etc
given in the Information Brochure-2015 and or claiming reservation under any category applied for, to
the satisfaction of the Institutes authorities.
It may please be noted that this admission offer is purely provisional and is contingent to the candidates
meeting all the requirements and conditions for admission to the programme as stipulated in the Information
Brochure 2015, or any other rules/regulations/decisions of the Institute in this regard.
The Institute reserves the right to withhold the result/cancel your admission/registration at any time during
your stay at the Institute, due to your submitting false information/facts or meeting other requirements.
Your acceptance to join the Institute will be construed as your acceptance to abide by all conditions stated
above and also the rules, regulations or standing orders issued by the Institute authorities from time to time.
Non-observance of any of these conditions or rules, regulations, orders etc., can lead to your
disqualification/removal from the Institute.
The Institute will not be responsible for any delay in postal/courier services or for other reasons whatsoever.
Note:

No request will be entertained under any circumstances to change the date of registration, or
extension in conveying acceptance of this offer or payment of fees. It is reiterated that you will
be allowed to register in person only.
