of Kendriya Vidyalaya set up for imparting education to the children of transferable Central Govt.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT FOR executing White washing and

painting(outer only) of school building of KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA,NO.2.AFS.
TAMBARAM CHENNAI- 600 073.
1. The Contractor need to complete the said work within one Month from the date of award
of contract.
2.
The contractor will be permitted to visit and take survey of the building before submitting
their bid
3. The rates supplied by the contractor for the Materials should not exceed MRP under any
circumstances
4. It is the responsibility of the contractor to abide by the labour law of Govt of India while
engaging labours for daily wages work .
5. It is responsibility of contractor to make necessary transport arrangement for bringing the
Material and extra payment will be made for transport
.
6. The Contractor will employ adequate number of labours in order to complete the work on
time.
7. The contractor will be directly responsible for the administration of his employees as
regards general discipline and courteous behaviour.
8. Payment for the work will be met out thrice during the course of the work. i.e 40% of the
total bid will be paid on the 10th day , the remaining 40 % will be on 20th day and final
settlement on 30th day. Payment however will be subject to the certificate issued by the
bidder about the progress of the work.

9. The Contractor will deposit with KV.NO.2. AFS. TAMBARAM a sum of Rs. 2000/(Rupees two thousands only) as EMD The EMD of the unsuccessful contractor will be
refunded immediately without interest.
10. Contractor should provide TIN.PAN No. as applicable.
11. Sealed quotations should be sent by Registered post only and the same should should reach
on or before 05/05/10
