Task 1 Reading into writing task


You are going to Brighton on holiday next month and want to visit Preston Park. Read the text
below and then, in your own words, write a letter (approximately 75 words) to your English
penfriend saying:
i) what you are going to see and do at the park and
ii) inviting your friend to come with you.

Preston Park
The oldest and largest park in Brighton
Attractions
The park has some beautiful flower gardens and many
old trees. There is also a lake with ducks and fish. You
can have lunch in the picnic area and visit the animal
and bird enclosure.

Tennis courts (open 10am-5pm)
Football pitch
Horse riding
Fishing
Walking and jogging routes

Caf
The caf sells hot and cold drinks and snacks.
