Education Voters of New York is a leading public education reform advocacy organization mobilizing New Yorkers
from across the State to demand that our elected leaders not only make reforming the way we educate the nearly 3.3
million school students a priority, but also to ensure that every child regardless of race, ethnicity and socioeconomic
background receives an excellent education.

Education Voters and NY EdPAC, a NY State political action committee, mobilize citizens and state coalitions to
engage in grassroots advocacy campaigns for policies that improve educational equity and outcomes for all
children. By organizing sustained citizen engagement in the electoral and policy-making process, Education Voters
is building an independent, nonpartisan movement of citizens and community leaders to transform public
education over the next 8 to 10 years.

Education Voters works with its sister organization, Education Voters Institute (501(c)3), to build effective and
informed citizen participation in education policy debates. Education Voters Institute organizes citizen forums,
tests public opinion, promotes the voice of the citizens in the public debate, and provides this research and training
to grassroots leaders, allied organizations, and state coalitions committed to ensuring that all children have access
to an excellent education.
