groom will make their way into the hall/ballroom in a few
minutes.

(Trial round) Ladies and gentlemen, could you please give a

round of applause as we welcome Mr & Mrs. Ravi Varman
(Crowd applause).
Oops...that was just a trial run to see if you guys are putting
enough energy to welcome the couple.

(sound sad) Looks like they are super hungry now Arvin,
before we proceed any further, I have a devastating news to
break. 3 of our guests who on the way here met with a
massive accident. If you know them we would like you to stay
calm as we just received news that they have passed away,
*silence*

(sound sad) Yes, the 3 of them are Mr & Mrs Mosquito and
their son baby mosquito.
(excited and energetic) So we can assure you tonight you
will be having a mosquito free party.

Without any further delay, Ladies and Gentlemen, we would

like to request all of you to be seated as we welcome the
family of the bride and groom followed by, for the very 1st
time, Mr and Mrs. Ravi Varman (Ravi and Anitha).

Wow! Anitha, you look absolutely smashing tonight.

Ravi, I have never seen you this stunning before!
Accompanying the couple just now were the Silver Steppers
dance group, they will be up later with more extravagant
dance moves so kick back and relax while we let the night
take you to Aatam 100 Vagai.. Oops, sorry wrong show.
Throughout this grandiose function tonight, both of us, the
ever gorgeous Glennie Ann and myself Arvin will be your host.
Together we will be accompanying, entertaining and making
sure everybody here has a good time.
Before we move forward to the next program there are a few
rules that we requests the guests to abide to. Now now we

3. At an Indian wedding like this, if you are single, I repeat
IF YOU ARE SINGLE, identify yourself as a well-known
immigrant officer or a county lawyer or a doctor. (You
never know which single girls or guys parents you are
talking to).

4. No one is leaving the wedding hall without taking a

5. This is not only Ravi and Anithas night, this is your
night. The couple wants all of you to loosen up and have

We are not married to give you marriage advise Ravi and Ani,
but this is the little that we know so some interesting advice
to Anitha:
Would you be mad if I decided to. means he
already did it, and doesnt know how to hide it.

dont know he really doesnt care, or know.

The couple know if they give us the duty to talk about them

task has been passed down to 2 people who are close to Ravi
and Anitha,

good things about her brother. Who else knows him better
than a sister does right?

Well Glen, some come FIRST because of the bride and groom.
Lets see, the SECOND is for the single people as mentioned
earlier to scout for some one. As for me, I came for the
scrumptious food, so with that note my dear friends, dinner is
served. Enjoy.

Those who are vegetarians, there is vegetarian food being

served at the __________________. There are also
__________________________ on the spot so dont be shy and
enjoy the night. Like the bride and groom has said it is your

I think Ravi and Anitha have covered the whole ballroom, are
there any tables they have not visited? Dont be shy, you can
raise your hands so that they can proceed to your table. (Do
you want the part highlighted in yellow or its just for
formalities that they come back to their table after whatever
table they have visited?)

Now can I invite the bride, our gorgeous Anitha on stage.

Now this is whats going to happen. Ravi, you are going to
take one step at a time towards your beautiful emcee, no I
mean your beautiful wife over here. Easy no?
I have a question for you Ravi, how many languages can you
speak?
The trick is this, each step you take, you have to say I LOVE
YOU! In different languages.
5 rules to abide with, Listen very carefully:

1. You cannot repeat the languages.

2. You only can use Malay when you reach the 3rd last
step.
3. You only can use Tamil when you reach the 2nd last
step.
4. You only can use English at your last step.

your bride a kiss on her no Ravi, not on her lips. Kiss
on her forehead, go down on your knees and say
your final I LOVE YOU!
Okay dont be too harsh on the man of the day. Lets give him
some help and this is where you guys (the guests) can help in
with your smartphones. Help us Google out how to say I LOVE
YOU in as many languages until his 3rd last step.

Ladies and gentlemen, every good thing has to come to an

end but the night is still young and we are going to go on until
the management chases us out of this ballroom.

For those who couldnt hold themselves from dancing

spontaneously while the performances were on, the dance
floor will be opened as soon as we take our steps off the
stage. Before we leave, I am Arvin and have a great night
ahead.
