4. Evidence of Ties and Financial Status (Documents to prove non-immigrant
intent)
a. Property Documents
i. deeds to real estate.
ii. Proof of property such as House, Shop
may include items such as land, flat, jewelry etc. in addition to
the real estate property.
iii. Photographs of your house, office, factory, shop or other
properties.
iv. Personal affidavit(s) regarding property. The business owners
should show how much they earned last year. Indicate ties such

as you have old parents you need to take care of. Also
describing the nature of the trip and details of the itinerary is
helpful.
b. Employment/Professional Documents
i. If you own a business, company registration certificate and
income details.
c. Financial Documents
i. Latest income tax returns for last 3. You should take originals.
ii. Some bank balance for at least a few months before going for a
visa. Please note that simple bank letters showing simply the
bank balance is not acceptable. You have to also take the past
few months (say 6 months) of statements with you, or the pass
book.
iii. Other financial papers e.g., bank fixed deposits, shares, life
insurance policies, bonds, etc.
d. Family Documents
i. Family photographs of close family.
ii. Documents about the family (e.g., marriage certificate, birth
certificatesof any children, etc.)
iii. Your family tree chart that shows your close relatives' names,
ages, professions and the addresses.
iv. If you have traveled outside the home country in the past, your
photographs taken during your visit(s).
5. Travel Documents
a. List of names, addresses and phone numbers of all the persons whom
you are going to visit or stay with.
6. Visa and Immigration History
a. Current and/or previous passport(s) containing entry and exit stamps
from your country and other countries
b. Other official documents indicating departure and return to your home
country

7. A letter from the U.S. organization indicating the purpose of the trip, the intended length of
stay, and the firms intent to defray costs, if applicable.

10.Pay application fee with cash at any Bank of the Philippines Islands
11.Bank will issue a receipt. SAVE THE RECEIPT.

13.Go for the interview


a.

Arrive at the Embassy gate 15 minutes before the time listed on the appointment
letter.
