Branding Guidelines

Typography

Colour

Apercu Bold has been used for the content of the posters, the simple san serif
font is legible and eye catching from a distance and is complemented with the
dashed outline for visual variation.

The colour palette was influenced by the patriotic British flag, these tones are
also used for voting system to link to the format of the student survey. These
colours are fresh and vibrant that work with a black background, making it eye
catching.

The typographic style was influenced by the idea that there is something missing,
which links to the surveys pending results. This is highlighted through the
dashed outlined words and visually commuincates the idea that through student
particpation this void can be filled.

Pattern
The branding is also accompanied by bold pattern that is influenced by the
Leeds College of Art logo to highlight the institutions involvement and to add
visual depth.

as working alone with individual quotes on each poster. The pattern is different
on each poster to visually represent movement and progression, which can be
obtained by students interacting with the survey.

The posters will be distributed around the university from the canteen to pop
up stands. This will allow all students and visitors to see and engage with the
campaign.
