7 Error Fix and Modification Release Note

This document details changes that have been made since the first release of LUSAS 14.7
The Kit No. can be found printed on the installation CD.
Further details of errors that have been fixed can be found in the Knowledge Base on the LUSAS Web site

changes apply to all LUSAS application products unless otherwise stated.

Under windows 7 registering an assembly from the module manager dialog fails "Failed locating the

Failure to load .NET modules due to missing dependencies causes a crash (12401)
The arbitrary section property calculator computes the section properties. However, cannot
visualise the section or flesh it - error message "failed to generate quadrilaterals to fill boundaries"

Print results wizard crashes or gives erroneous loadcase Ids when some elements are not showing

Modeller converts Global distributed loads, applied on a line or surface, to CL load. The conversion
is not correct when the load is not constant. The conversion error affects also the FLUX Field load

When a smart combinations is included in an envelope of an envelope, maximum envelopes are

Problem when using spring supports on rotational degrees of freedom in implicit dynamics model
when using either Multifrontal or Pardiso solvers (11561)
Linear Consolidation - Concentrated or Global Distributed Load (CL) applied increases with each
time step (11784)
Erroneous results are obtained when residual stresses are assigned to thick shells (TTS3, QTS4,
TTS6, QTS8) with a linear material (12132)
The plot file (.mys) name is taken from the rst file name and not the .dat file name, this can lead to
a loss of results dumps (12267)
The option to initialise the reference temperature in the structural part of a coupled analysis using
temperatures from the thermal parts, keeps initialising temperatures at each loadcase. Initialisation
should only happen at the start of the structural analysis (12394)
